Alé Araya is a Latina artist, producer, songwriter, and musician from Los Angeles, CA. Classically trained in jazz, the multi-instrumentalist began writing songs as an early teen, playing in her school band & learning production via YouTube tutorials as she explored her creative identity. Most of her teenage years were spent writing, producing, or performing -- leveraging her angelic vocals to share deeply personal narratives about womanhood, mental health, and sexuality. Alé pulls inspiration from queer/women artists like Erykah Badu, KAYTRANADA, Kali Uchis & KÜCKA, forming a sound that merges soulful, sticky melodies with a blend of electronic & hip-hop production. After spending the last year writing & producing with artists like Merlyn Wood of BROCKHAMPTON, Curtis Waters, & Marco Luka, the 21-year old is working on her debut EP. Her unreleased single 'Orange Juice' with Rozie Ramati has garnered over 1M views on Tik-Tok and is set for release in March via Alt:Vision/The Orchard.
